SNOW REMOVAL IN NJ
At Rich’s Lawn Care, we have several options for our clients. We don’t require our clients to enter into a contract for snow removal or lawn service. The snow season can be quite unpredictable, our clients like it when we bill per service. Our crews start plowing after the snow accumulates to a height of 3-6 inches. With many years of experience, we’ve found that our clients enjoy paying for snow removal services as they go along. This prevents paying for services they don’t receive.
CONSIDERATIONS
Once the snow has started to accumulate just a few inches, if not addressed, damage can be caused by this accumulation. Whether your a homeowner or business owner, shoveling your driveway or sidewalk can be a serious workout.
- Allowing snow to sit on the roof without proper drainage can weaken and possibly cause structural damage to the roof
- As temperatures begin to fall, snow that has accumulated in gutters will begin to freeze and cause damage to your gutters
- Shrubs and bushes can be damaged or die if snow is allowed to sit on branches and limbs
- Snow and ice must be removed from Awnings and overhead structures
- Icicles tend to develop around these structures as water drips
- Icicles or snow that builds up on overhanging structures, can cause serious damage to anything or anyone that happens to be underneath
SALT
At Rich’s Lawn Care,we use salt on Commercial and Residential properties. This is very useful in situations where snow is continuing to fall. Salt is requested even if the snow accumulation is low, to prevent slips and falls as a result of ice build up. Salt should be applied to the steps, Driveways and Sidewalks or any paved surface on your property that receives foot traffic.
DRIVEWAYS
First we start by cleaning the snow from all vehicles. Next we start in the middle of the driveway and blow the snow to one side of the driveway. Then we make a u-turn and proceed down the other side and continue to alternate sides until the driveway is clear of snow. Salt is then applied to the driveway to prevent ice build up.
